Chinese manufacturers of medical masks are cashing in on the coronavirus pandemic that started in their country.
They are seeing profits spike as the global demand for masks and other medical equipment has reached a fever pitch.
Nearly a fifth of mask manufacturers in the country only jumped into the business after January, the Financial Times reported, citing official data.
“A mask machine is a real cash printer,” Shi Xinghui, a sales manager of an N95 mask manufacturer in China, told Agence France-Presse.
“The profit of a mask now is at least several cents compared to less than one in the past,” Xinghui added. “Printing 60,000 or 70,000 masks a day is equivalent to printing money.

This is happening because the world sold its soul to China for a profit, everything is made over there now. We are getting what we deserve. No one to blame but us. President Trump came to power too late to prevent China’s dominance.

I’d rather initiate a first-strike nuclear attack. That’s a fight they won’t win. Just EMP blasts in the atmosphere will do. Can’t be bothered to warn everybody to clear out their ambassadorial staffs.
I personally believe that the nationality of whatever company makes a product, where that product is actually made, and the percentage of raw material/parts are from the nation the company is based in should be on everything sold in the US. People can then decide on the basis of their conscience, but I hope a large number of people will stop buying Chinese goods. Let the American stores choke on their made in China inventory - and thus avoid those goods in their supply chain going forward.
I also think the government should drastically decrease H1Bs, and put a moratorium on H1Bs for Chinese tech and scientific people. This will be easy to justify in the short term, given societal fears secondary to Corona.
Disturbingly, I am hearing just the opposite from those on the left, saying that this pandemic should teach the world to embrace one another.
We live in a world in which just about every major nation has nuclear weapons, and it's largely only mutually assured destruction that has, to date, stopped nations from using them. We live in a world in which we have locks on our doors, spend a ton of money on militaries to protect us, have to guard against cyber criminals and espionage, and can't trust our own governments. It's a dangerous place, and the veneer of civility is disturbingly thin.
In the real world in which we live, what we are required to do is to protect freedom, protect innocence, and make sure that we stay strong as a nation that offers a life of liberty and self-determinism. It's our duty. It is NOT our duty to weaken ourselves in order to make the UN, or any other globalist coalition happy.
WELLLLLLLLLL..... EVERYONE in China wears a mask due to the pollution. They have one of the largest populations in the world. Do the math.

I can’t thank you enough for that segment on AJ
My son reminded me just now in a family text just (he had listened earlier) now while I was listening before you came on (woke up in the middle of the night to GOP) I was in the hospital 2 Januarys ago undergoing brain surgery. During the early morning rounds by the docs (they didn’t do it every morning) they would ask me a series of questions...what day, month, year etc., etc. SEVERAL mornings they would include, “who is the president”? When I would proudly say Donald J. Trump...sometimes they would make sarcastic remarks to each other...”he EVEN knows his middle initial”. My son who spent many a night in the room remembers it well. Looking back and what I went through, I can’t believe I made it out of there alive. Stating this on open forum? I don’t care. It’s a fact. I’m old (with a great family who are well-aware of what is going on).

Some female(?) “reporter” at the Task Force briefing was going on and on about how Trump should ease the sanctions against Iran to help them out...I have no idea how she thinks any aid (which they have categorically refused) would get to the Iranian citizens any more than the billions Obama gave them...the only way to insure any aid got to the people of Iran would be to destroy the government/military of Iran...but she was getting really emotional about them poor terrorists who want to destroy us.
