[And we live 130 miles NE of the “hotspot” of NYC. ]
I know one other person who was confirmed with COVID-19. He is in his late 20's. He has recovered after a 10-day illness and is still in quarantine. He was never hospitalized.
A colleague at work was send home for isolation after reporting exposure to COVID-19. Neither the colleague nor housemates developed any symptoms and they repeatedly tested negative over a period of four weeks. They are all in their 20's. They would be eligible to return-to-work - except all their work places have been shut down.
Corona virus just flew over my house...
“Under 70”
We’ll, some animals are noire equal than others,.,.
Both of those are under 55.
Died from it? No one. My 86-year-old grandmother had it, apparently, but it’s over and she said it was no big deal if it was indeed coronavirus.
On the contrary: A very legitimate inquiry, and not the least bit "morbid."
Regards,
Would you settle for I (at age 73) know of NOBODY who has died of Covid-19, though I’ve, in the last 3 weeks, had 4 friends who have passed away: 1 of a heart attack, 2 of strokes & 1 of a motorcycle accident.
Yours, TMN78247
And if I lived in the county of Weld just east of us, there's much greater odds I'd know someone who died. As of last Weds, 102 employees at one meat-packing plant have tested positive, 18 bad enough to have been hospitalized, of which 4 are now dead. All at one plant.
The union rep at the plant disputes the govt's numbers, saying: the states report of 102 positive tests from the 6,000-employee plant likely vastly understates the actual number of infections, based on her conversations with workers and families. Its really a lot higher than that, Cordova said.
[My 86-year-old grandmother had it, apparently]
I didn’t know him personally but several of my friends knew the guy who caught it at the RSA conference. He was 45. Yes, technically I never met him in person. But he was a second degree connection many times over. I have two other second degree connections who died of it too they were about 70 but in good health.
Did you know anyone who died in 9/11? Do you hate the victims of 9/11 too?
Don’t know anyone over or under 70 who has contracted covid-19 so know no one who has died from it.
I have a second and third degree cousin who got it and recovered. Approximately 60 and 30.
3 percent under 60 and a cpl who survived with lung damage that is presently obvious
All likely had underlying conditions so...
I think that some creepers think that anyone who contracted Corona virus is worse than Osama bin laden.
I never met anyone who survived the Holocaust, but I still believe it happened. and I don’t have any hostility to the people who survived it.
For an even more accurate reading, subtract the population of New York for the overall population. Also, subtract the suffers of New York from the sufferers outside of New York.
Divide the sufferers outside of New York by the population outside of New York. That is a much more credible reading of the US is really doing.
Divide the death toll outside of New York by the population outside of New York. That will show the percentage of deaths from Kung Flu.
The Covid Cowards are running America.
Ditto. More importantly, why should I?
