Washington state Governor Jay Inslee is determined to wipe out restaurants in his state.
The governor will require restaurants to keep a log, including contact information, on every customer who dines at their establishment.
Inslee also wants all restaurants to open at half capacity.
Say good-bye to dine-in restaurants!
Inslee wanted to be president.
ABC reported:
Restaurants in Washington state will be required to keep a log of each dine-in customer to facilitate contact tracing during phase two of the states coronavirus reopening plans.
As part of the requirements, the log must be maintained for 30 days and must include each customers telephone number and email address, and what time they came in to eat, according to officials.
If you have somebody who has become sick and they were sitting right next to a person at a restaurant, to be able to identify that person could be very valuable for their health to try to save their life, and so we put that in place, Gov. Jay Inslee said Tuesday.
Eight counties within the state Stevens, Wahkiakum, Skamania, Ferry, Pend Oreille, Columbia, Garfield, and Lincoln have been cleared to enter phase two of the reopening process.
In order to remain open, restaurants must also meet a dozen other requirements including operating at 50% capacity or below, and seating no more than five guests at each table, according to Inslees office.

I was looking forward to taking my wife out to eat when this was over. Won’t do that now. I’d love to move to another state, but financially, there’s no possible way I can...unless I want my wife and kids to live in poverty.
Now *that* is funny! Laughed out loud!
Would they call this diner suppression?
Some suggestions, dick hurts, jim nazium, joe baga donuts. joe sh## the ragman,
Many free food hand out spots are requiring ID.
There's an app for that. It will contact you if someone you've passed has CV.
Question for WA pols: If you require ID to eat out, why don’t you require it to vote?
It’ll contact you if some who passes you has tested positive. There are likely far more people passing you who have it and don’t know it or, if their symptoms were mild, chose not to call their doc.
That app isn’t about public health.
No, I don’t. I haven’t been out since before the stay home.
And I haven’t been out to eat longer than that. Too many nasty germs before coronavirus and too expensive.
I’ve become a serously good copycat cook.
And my versions are healthier, cheaper, and even better tasting..
Question for WA pols: If you require ID to eat out, why dont you require it to vote?
My point exactly.
