DOJ has filed a Statement of Interest in an Illinois case challenging more general restrictions imposed by Governor J.B. Pritzker. The DOJ position is that the Governor’s last minute removal of the case from state to federal court, on the eve of a decision in state court, was improper.

Be sweet if Pritzker ended up being yet another jailed Illinois governor. The state has quite a track record. Of course a small problem with Pritzker is he would need a double-wide cell.

He’s been relaxing his arbitrary rules just enough to avoid really getting hammered I think. So I hope a judge somewhere blows it all up just to show him he’s not as clever as he thinks. Fat bastard.
