As seen in the video, the man started by exiting his truck and then walking up to the protesters with the running chainsaw.

This was the guy’s mistake and why he was arrested. He could have planted himself in the doorway and refused to allow them to enter. It will always be hard to establish self-defense when you are taking the fight to the enemy.

And I would not recommend a chainsaw in such a situation. It is too bulky, too heavy, and not really effective. Yes, it can cut a gash pretty quick, but so can a well-honed machete.

The Left is going to see a huge drop in illegals crossing the border. The situation has drastically changed. Brown lives don’t matter anymore.

He wasn’t using the chainsaw to physically threaten the crowd, he started it up when they got shrill and loud to the point of drowning out his comments. It was used as a loud, scary attention-getter... and it certainly worked. The local authorities better think carefully about their next move here - this man has developed a huge amount of support overnight. He has also highlighted something that the media will never mention: Latinos don’t give a flip about “white guilt”.

He now knows that the next time a group of Anarchists “peacefully” wish to demolish his property, appropriate what he had the gall to consider his property simply because he manufactured or purchased it to their own use he should be more helpful. And kinder. The very least he could have done was load the goods for them. And he should have been heard saying, “Bless you, bless” as they carried out their duty. Senior Pena should now be more docile, penitent, chastised, educated as to his proper place, and wiser from his experience. And he is truly fortunate because the police have shot and killed many whose transgressions were not as great as his.

Police said no one was hurt in the incident, and that the department was fully prepared for protesters who have a constitutional right to protest.

What was left unsaid but strongly implied is that they also have a Constitutional Right to destroy your property and convert it to their own use. Their Constitutional Rights also extend to, should they feel the need to be entertained, killing, maiming, or seriously injuring you. And you? You have Constitutional Rights also. They include the Right to stand by and wring your hands as they go about demolishing your property. But along with those Rights go obligations. You have the obligation to assist them in any manner necessary as they go about destroying your livelihood. You also have the Right to help them load what goods they decide to take for their own.

Senior Pena learned his lesson the hard way. You can benefit from his experience.

Jury nullification

I doubt he will even be charged. Kind of like the big-rig driver who drove through the protest crowd on the highway in Minnesota

If this man is charged- especially in Texas - then the country has fallen much further into the abyss than I thought.

I stand corrected. Looks like he was charged (albeit with misdemeanors). We are indeed circling the drain.

Just a question. You have posted several threads which
mention a video. But you never include a clickable link.
Why?
