Screw fake book ! Never ever use it. Problem solved
My family stays at the Belmonte Inn (built in about 1910 and on the town square in Abbeville.) every Thanksgiving. John Calhoun practiced law there. The last cabinet meeting of the Confederacy was held in Abbeville. A Confederate monument is still in the town square. Abbeville is a very small town (You can walk from one side to the other in about 15 minutes.) with a very large history. It has maintained its Opera house from the early 20th Century, so there is an "artsy crowd." I could be wrong, but it always seems to me to be a live and live town. It is common to see a Prius beside a jacked up 1980s pickup truck. Every year I see freeze dried hippies living beside unreconstructed rednecks.
I'd like to hear more details about that situation.
Great idea! Sowing confusion in the ranks of our enemies. I’m sure there are plenty of left wing targets we could go after.
Wow....bunch of freepers running from a fight?
Im a memer...I make political memes that trigger liberals...
Im on the book of face because that is where my enemy is.
Flee if you wish....we need neither your counsel nor your memes...
But it’s so much easier for people you haven’t talked to, seen, or barely even thought of in 30 years to suddenly pop up in your life and start to bug you. You don’t get it, man.
Seriously though, I spend very little time on Facebook for reasons just like the point of this thread. But, it is nice to jump into once in a while on Sunday morning and look at what old friends, friend’s kids, etc are up to. There are also tons of cool things, from recipes, things to do, nice photos, and a million other things on there. But it’s all being watched, and therein lies the problem.
Facebook and the like are a great resource and could be a huge asset to life if it weren’t for the permanence of the internet, and the fact that anyone from prospective employers, to the cops, to your neighbors can find out way more about you than you may want them to, 24/7. Not to mention the government. And yes I know you can create “groups” and separate who can see what, etc, but that’s way too much messing around for me. And it doesn’t apply to ‘big brother’.
The negatives outweigh the positives. I keep my account for the beneficial reasons I stated above, but I put as little info about me on there as I can. About all you’ll learn about me on FB is that I like IPA beer and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce.
