You made very good points both about corporate interests and behavior. The establishment now knows much more about how we tick and how to control behavior. The internet has made it easy.

my go-to for info on tire specs including country of manufacture is Tire Rack

I've heard of them, but never really looked at them. I will check them out.

...we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age...

Does this not sound like megacorporations...a new kind of "beast". From the MIC, to large banks and high techs, and all those in between, they all seek to rule over and dominate the individual and small business owner.

The Democrats will use this against Trump in the swing state of Ohio. “Trump wants to boycott an American owned OHIO BASED company!”

My guess is CivilWarBrewing's tires are high performance summer sports car tires. If you are hard into hard corning the tires might last 10K miles. If you drive like a little old lady on Sunday, maybe 15K

That's some expensive rubber any way you look at it.

Tell Goodyear what you think of their anti-Conservative agenda!

“If I were to go to a Goodyear store...”

If I were to go to a Goodyear store, I’d have my MAGA hat and Trump 2020 tshirt on, my credit card waving and say “NOPE! Never again! Good-bye Goodyear. Duh!”

It's always good to get the facts before opining, and it may be something like a locally produced slide.

If that is the case, I would like to hear that the employees responsible have been fired, and fired without separating compensation (especially if they are lawyers.)

I'll wait for further, and hopefully more complete and reliable info to be released before I narrow my scope of acceptable tire choices.

That said, perhaps other companies are noticing the instantaneous and strong reaction to apparent corporate political partisanship. (I would also guess that we Conservatives are far more likely to "buy American" than the blm marxists, anyhoo, and would be the enTIREly wrong demo to offend.)

Nowadays hardly any major manufacturers makes tires which are not excellent. Recently I bought Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 which are excellent performance all weather tires recommended by “Tire Rack” people as the best choice in the size I needed.

By the way, every modern tires I saw had the country of manufacture stamped on the sidewall. My Continentals were MADE IN USA.

There used to be a discount tire brand called Multi-Mile. They are apparently no longer available. They were cheap, ran 80,000 miles, and rode quietly and well. I used them on multiple vehicles and was always happy with them. they were a little noisy on wet roads IIRC, otherwise great tires.

I never owned a set of Goodyear tires that I wouldn’t replace with Multi-Mile if I could.

I learned the hard way. Bought a sporty car and the tires lasted about 12K. Replacements were $400 per tire at the time. Bought some all season performance tires for about $200 per tire. I get around 45K before they need to be replaced.
