By framing mask usage as smart, kind, moral, proof that you care ... it made anyone who disagreed mean, selfish and evil. Hate and fear the unbeliever who wants to hurt you and doesn’t care if you die.
That’s why there are many videos of liberal bullies screaming at people in stores for not wearing a mask, even when it is a young child not wearing one.
Training people to equate compliance with kindness and morality means they hate and fear the non-compliant. Thus the liberal bullies who sprayed picnickers with mace, though they were clearly sitting down to eat.
Very educational. I didn’t see that as clearly as you do but it explains a Facebook friend freaking out and saying, “I knew this wasn’t a safe place” when she heard I supported Trump. I didn’t change. I didn’t attack her but she sure did with the F-word flying! Snowflake!
Yet the same militant maskers support abortion. The mind reels.

Probably not tricks per se. If I see one with a creature in his mouth I yell, “Drop that thing! Drop that thing!” They actually drop said animal, and it escapes a near certain death. Usually the previously caught animal survives long enough to run away to a secret hiding place, and this USUALLY takes place outside. I have learned not to completely panic if I’m being presented with a small animal gift, especially indoors.
One of the cats will jump onto our shoulders on command. It’s a gesture. We tap our shoulder as if giving permission to hope on board, and then they jump into our shoulders!
Worse, cloth face diapers are a petri dish...rubbed around the face, pulled under the nose or chin, hung from one ear, laid on the table, stuffed in the purse or pocket and hung from the rear view mirror. Just spend some time watching the mask parade!
After I chose not to comply, I simply ignore the signs. If told masks are required or as happens more recently, I am offered a mask, I establish eye contact, and calmly say, “I'm exempt.” As a result, I'm no longer asked to comply and left alone.
Awwwww, your kittens sound delightful...sans the almost dead wild creatures. Our Snuggles caught a mouse once 18 months ago in the bathroom and now she stares at that particular crack in the bathroom paneling every night for hours. It’s so sad! And cute. What a memory!
“I’m exempt.” Brilliant! Little do they know, they too are exempt. After I saw a nurse culture the interior of a mask in a petri dish, I was EXTRA done with them. Gross!

Calling Lauren Thompson “an idiot” without pinging her is a deleterious and unfortunate breach of FreeRepublic norms, forms and edicate that I find disappointing and sad. Okeydoker you sir are possessed of not even the most basic appointment for norms and polite behavior. I find you repugnant at the very least. Maskerbaiter indeed!
Our cats celebrated their tenth birthday this year. They are rescues that our daughter fostered before they were old enough to be cared for or adopted at her local Humane Society. When she was fostering them, she came home for a visit (she had just graduated from college) so brought them with her. She was gone most of the time on her long weekend visit that I had to give them their medicines a couple of times a day. That sneak, she knew exactly what she was doing, and we asked if we could have first bat at adopting them!
They were both brought in separately (but on the same day) when they were about a week old, so we were able to count back to get an approximate birth date. We named them Watson and Crick after the famed DNA scientists and their birthday is celebrated on April 25, which is DNA day. Those funny little kittens are now full grown monsters that have tugged at our heart strings all this time.

It is not a matter of “weak sensitivity”. They’ve been emotionally trained to love the fellow believer and sacred oppressed groups ... and hate and fear the infidel, the unbeliever in social justice.
