I liked that film, and the ending was violent but Tarantino is no dummy: he wanted an uber-violent ending and he wanted it to be against people we’d cheer to see get roasted. Who to use, who to use? The Manson family! Nobody sympthetic to those scumbags.

Next to last movie I saw in a theater before the Chinese pandemic hit and they all closed down. I think this was Tarantino's best.

The last movie I saw in a theater was "Call Of The Wild" - which was a rather disappointing adaptation of one of my favorite books of all time.

My wife and I were a couple of 19y/o kids who moved from Ohio to Hollywood...just a few weeks before Charlie’s gang began doing their satanic killings.

Even without a TV, it was all everyone was talking about.

Shoshana’s face laughing at them while projected on the dancing flames was cinematic beauty.

Yes....in more ways, than one.

The layers Tarantino can place, into one scene, is truly incredible.

The most important thing I learned from IB, was how to order three glasses in Germany.

Still gratifying to see one lone Texan high as a kite, and a Mexican housewife take down three murderous hippies armed with only a can of dog food, a dog, a swimming pool and a flamethrower. OK. The guy in the pool helped. Wish-fulfilling violence, yes. But brilliantly choreographed.

There has never been a satisfactory adaptation for film of either the Hunchback of Notre dame or Huckleberry Finn. Too deep for film, both of them. Same would apply I suppose Call of the Wild and White Fang. Jack London was inside the head of feral dogs when he wrote those, and all a movie producer would be thinking of is Lassie Come Home.

WOW!
Haven’t seen such violence since Straw Dogs.

Mr Kitty and I saw this film in the theater. We haven’t been in years, but I really wanted to see this movie.

It was hard not to start cheering during the final scene.

Very convincing krispy kritter in that pool at the end.
