I have read the constitution. And when you look at the constitution, the current enumeration is that the state legislature decides the method of elector selection. And that is why a constitutional amendment would be required to implement a district based system nationally. Simply because some states will not want to split their states electoral power.

The Constitution allows State Legislatures to determine how electors are selected. They can change how they do so any time on or before December 8th. If you knew that you wouldn’t have replied as you did.

My suggestion would confirm closely with conservative principles, as any configuration of the electoral college that gives winner take all for each State GUARANTEES mass fraud, and is a recipe for fascism.

That said, I now realize that this Country is so Balkanized and dysfunctional that no one is willing to look for a path toward reconciliation and fairness, even if Trump would stay in office following that path.

My post could have been labelled “How Trump Wins” but it still wouldn’t convince anyone because it doesn’t put those who disagree with you in a gulag.

State Legislatures can do it. There are enough Fraud State legislatures controlled by Republicans.

However, I don’t believe any of them have the guts to give all their electors to Trump when the scam vote total went for Biden.

With enough push from their actual voters, they might go for a split elector compromise which gives Trump four more years.

Or we can just welcome our new Biden overlord.

You really don’t understand. Popular vote is winner take all. Which is what is currently in place for those States. The path I propose would make it so that populous counties can’t steal all electors statewide, which is what just happened. It would invalidate the theft while leaving the thieves with a token amount of electors.

What you are saying is that you don’t mind having a President Biden. And no Republican President ever again.

Because there is NO WAY any Court or State Legislature is going to throw out enough votes to give Trump the White House. And there is no way to win popular vote in States which have now permanently done away with voter roll integrity in populous counties.

The Democrats found and exploited the fatal flaw in the current Electoral College setup.

Do you want to change the constitutional processes already in place? Do you know what it takes to Amend the constitution?

I would love to see people agree on a means of minimizing incentive for fraud.

Or a fraud proof biometric/blockchain system.

But there is no national will for any of that. The Trump term was just a blip in the long decline to oblivion for what once was a great country.

December 8th will come and go with no action by any legislature. By December 15th The Supreme Court will have thrown up its hands, and a doddering fool will take the mantle on January 21st.
