YMMV, as they say.
I was on projects in Asia where we were required to get a number of updated vaccines as a condition of working there. It was the "strongly advised" company policy at the time, not the Government's.
My arms were sore for a few weeks. Never got sick though. Did not seem like a big deal at the time. I was quite naive. The vaccines had been used for decades however.
Trump’s Warp Speed. Trump’s plan. He’s been bragging about it since day one. This is his accomplishment. Don’t blame it on anyone else.
You are quite correct. Sorry about that.
The reply was directed at post #7.
Was not intended to offend either poster. Just thought to give a direct and literal answer to what was probably a rhetorical question.
Paging Senator Rand Paul.
Yes.

No problem!
The same gain-of-function experiment that Anthony Fauci sponsored in the Wuhan laboratory in 2019 can be recreated with other viruses in other laboratories in 2021.
Those other viruses may be even deadlier.
I wonder if governments will insist that citizens be injected with the toxic poisons called mRNA vaccines for all of them, and have to show proof of having done so, in order to travel, work, and continue to live.
Stop bashing President Trump.
President Trump is the best leader that the country has had since George Washington created the country from the sweat of his brow.

Same with Cebu Pacific. Vaccine certificate OR A negative COVID-19 test ( you can get at the airport prior to boarding or at any municipality (think it’s ₽4900 - about $100 for a quick test, if you are not an OFW, required at most destinations. Only flies to Guam in the US - so most Americans will never use the airline anyways.,
One of those pathways into the future with an uncomfortably high probability.
It leads to a 95% reduction in the human population, to be blamed on "unexpected side effects". That is quite intentional too.
Let's don't down that path. There are still other directions we are strong enough to take.
I am betting that the toxic poisons that people will be ordered to be injected with will have the allegedly unforeseen side effect of causing infertility, thus reducing the population.
Alaska Airlines is on record saying they will not require proof of vaccination. Which is great for me, as that is the only airline I fly and I refuse to be vaccinated.
I didn't even need a mask to vote.
There are several other predicted (and permanently disabling) side effects from this particular technology. The predictions may be wrong. It would be best to be very cautious however. Certainly we should not be forcing these vaccinations upon a general population.
And why are we being stampeded into this anyway?
COVID is looking more and more like a very nasty analogue of flu that can be treated successfully with several existing medications and some new protocols. And researchers are getting very good at coming up with anti-viral treatments that can stop infections.
We can beat this.
I work in all of those countries. They are not the countries where you’ll be challenged. In addition, I’ve lived in three of the countries in your list.
I’m talking about off the beaten track countries.
Exactly. My immunization record is in my passport case with my passport, and thus available for immigration to review.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I haven’t traveled abroad since the end of January. Normally, it’s 3x per month. I’m about to refresh my vaccinations since nobody has been traveling—shouldn’t be any shortage of vaccines.
You guys are really myopic. You need to take a more holistic view of travel in the current context. Right now, there’s an open travel corridor between AUS and NZ; however, that will close if AUS starts allowing just anyone in without a vaccination. QF are implementing this policy to try to capitalise on both travel to AUS, as well as piggybacking on forward travel to NZ.
If you only fly to Terre Haute, you don’t need to worry about QF or any of this discussion.
