One man’s overthrow is another’s making sure that your man is the only one capable of jumping that high!
my bookie has Mac Jones in the number 2 spot. then far behind him comes Trevor and then Harris
Winner seems likely to come from winning team. So possible Trevor could get it.
thinking about taking the long shot but still waiting
Please stop posting this stuff about sports, pro or otherwise. In essence, you are agreeing with the hypocrisy of all of the kneeling and crying by millionaires and soon-to-be millionaires!
There are still people here who are interested in sports.
Just skip the threads that you dont like
Btw, if any of you bet on the Steelers...jeez louise..the score right now is crazy. Bookies are loving because nobody was betting on the Bengals
I’d vote for 1 of the 3 Bama guys (or Trask).
Trevor Lawrence will be a star in the NFL, but my grandmother could put up his stats in the ACC.

So, you are agreeing with the ingrates and at the same time giving FR a bad reputation?
I'm boycotting all sports except the University Of Alabama football. At 77 years of age I have few pleasures in life and I've decided that I will not allow BLM to take one away from me.
Sports are for children and young adults. By the time you reach 30 following sports is for real dunderheads. I am guilty of being a dunderhead at one time but no more bread and circuses.
I dont have to agree with them to enjoy sports...or for that matter..make money off of them
although tonight it appears I am going to lose...but I made a hell of a profit on college basketball today...so it evens out in the end
You think they deserve to be in the fake playoff after getting blown out by Clemson?
My money is on the African-American, because, well 2020, George Floyd, BLM, riots, no justice no peace, etc. etc.
They’d be afraid to give it to a Caucasian—over a black man—this year.
It really sucks. No one has integrity—not the country, nor elections nor sports.
All three of the Alabama players regard the other Bama players as being more deserving of the award than they themselves. These three are fine young men all. Ioo bad they can’t share the award, that would make more sense than anything else in the year 2020.
I follow sports because my children play sports and participate in activities which involve sports. And go to Bama. :-)
I agree. The problem is that Mac was too good in the last game. Both Trevor and Trask had to dramatically save their teams with their feet and getting TDs, Mac didn’t have Heisman run QB moments and just used his arm to win.

I can’t fence any more, but that didn’t reduce my satisfaction at watching the US men’s foil team win the world championship over the frog-eating surrender sissies.
Fencing is two guys it tights poking each other while uttering french. ‘Nuff said.
Fencing is chess at 10,000 rpms, as much physical output as basketball, and greater skill requirements than any other martial art.
We tend not to think of it that way these days, because people carry guns instead of swords, but that’s what it is: the most difficult of all martial arts.
Fun fact: the fastest moving thing at the Olympics is the marksman’s bullet exiting his muzzle. The second-fastest thing is the tip of a fencer’s blade.
Like boxing, timing and distance are vital. Fencing footwork, though, is many times as difficult as boxing footwork.
The major problem is that fencing is so crushingly difficult that beginners tend to look silly, for, say, the first three years or so.
For some top-level fencing, go to YouTube and watch any of Aron Szilagyi’s saber bouts.

They are 10-1, and beat Clemson earlier in the year. Ohio State only played six games, and they are in, and ahead of ND.
Just a re-cap of some of the CFP games:
2014-15...#2 Oregon (12-1) beat #3 Florida State (13-0) 59-20; #4 Ohio State (12-1) beat #1 Alabama (12-1) 42-35; then Oregon went on to beat OSU in the championship 42-20.
2015-16...#2 Alabama (12-1) crushed #3 Michigan State (12-1) by a score of 38-0.
2016-17...#2 Clemson (12-1) beat #3 Ohio State (11-1) 31-0.
2017-18...#4 Alabama (11-1) beat #1 Clemson (12-1) 24-6.
2018-19...#2 Clemson (14-0) beat #1 Alabama (14-0) by a score of 44-16.
Some lop-sided scores; I guess those teams that got whipped didn’t belong in the CFP.
Yeah, I think Notre Dame belongs in the CFP, and I think Texas A&M should be in it instead of Ohio State.
The hatred some here on FR have for Notre Dame is close to pathological.
