hmmm...But PA has a dictatorship at the moment. They ignored their legislature which is the only one allowed to create election laws per the constitution.

Wow so many fake conservatives among us voicing concern that Pence will do something unconstitutional, while it clearly states in the constitution for a elector to be valid it must go through the VP, why go through him if he is only to read it and has no say about it?
Only way to find out is to do it! And wait for SCOTUS to put it on their docket.

The Founding Fathers due to their knowledge of English & European history set the treason bar very high. Then Marshall set it even higher at the Burr trial !

In fact if you look at the history of treason charges in the US the few that have been made only tend to stick if there is a declared war like WWII (See Constitutional definition!). Even then we’re remarkably forgiving to those convicted. The few times its been done outside of war have been done under dubious circumstances like Blair Mountain (see WV Mine War). They tend to get thrown out as they should be.
The treason word is thrown around on this site too indiscriminately and irresponsibly. Even violations of the Espionage Act don’t classify as treason as defined by the US Constitution.

We may not like it but it’s still the law of the state. Yeah they are allowed to have scumbag Democrat governors.
I believe PA, AZ and WI did just that.

I’m sorry but it didn’t happen. For example, GOP legislators in PA conceded they cannot appoint alternate electors, but the republican leadership called on Congress to reject the Biden electors.
That is a far cry from the legislature actually voting.
