Bingo. I assume Gorbachev means that the CIA orchestrated the Capitol Follies to put America’s communist hardliners firmly in the saddle.
I’m guessing Gorbachev’s theory is that the incursion was planned by the CIA in order to discredit Trump. A few actual Trump protest people were allowed in, along with a staged team of bad actors, the DC cops were told to offer minimum resistance but create a melee for photographs, and look, it worked pretty much as planned for them.
It is, however, entirely possible that Trump and loyal intel agents outsmarted the plotters and also inserted a few rogue elements, and came out with Pelosi’s laptop. That part might not be obvious to Gorbachev.
