This started in May.
It is the Sink Hole de Mayo.

30 feet deep according to the article at the source.

Look down the page to where they show the height of the house and the hole below it ... that 30’ (9 meters) may be just to the surface of the water shown there.
It’s not uncommon for large sinkholes to be a hundred feet deep, but even if it isn’t that deep it still has to be deep enough for the collapse debris field to be completely covered by the standing water.
