Yes, I tend towards unprocessed foods.
I’m old enough to remember when the smaller cans were larger. It seems to me that the packaging would be a lot of the cost.
The list of ingredients of cocoa puffs has a scary amount of added vitamins. If I don’t have a deficiency, I don’t see why I should consume supplements.
what do we do about it?
I've been switching to somewhat cheaper store brands with better value...
the old trick of buying the bigger package to save money is not always true anymore.....I check unit pricing and the difference is moot most of the time.
I was in the pool!
Chlorine for my pool went up 25% overnight about 2 weeks ago.
Agree.
I noticed it buying Ice...
this shop didnt even bother buying new bags, they struck out the 8lb number and scratched in 7lb with a marker. Then they increased they price by 50cents.
Less for more...
the very definition of inflation right?
Hi.
It’s all over the place. Very sneaky...
Last week I bought a six pack of Stella Artois.
I’m minding my own business surfing FR and for some reason I looked at the bottle...
11.2 oz. WTF. I had two of them and was wondering where the buzz was.
5.56mm
Amen!
Crystal Light instant lemonade used to have 5 packets in it. Now it only has 4.
One common trick for beer and other bottled drinks is to put a bigger indent in the bottom. You can reduce the liquid without it being obvious.
This has been going on for years.
Toilet paper used to be 4.5 by 4.5 sheets now they’re down to 3.7 by 3.7 open a can of veggies and the contents maybe an inch from the top of the can.
This.🤬
Now they can be confused with cat food tins.
But total sheets is not how you best determine value, but total feet and (if toilet paper) how many plies. The best sites show price per quantity/measure.
This is nothing new. They’ve been slowly shrinking the package for years. Remember when Hillshire Farms smoked sausage packages used to be 1 pound (also, remember when the sausage had a real skin...)? that was about 3 downsizes ago.
Orange juice, too. In the past five years or so, a half gallon has become 52 ounces. They can't shrink it too much more before they'll have to start shrinking the quarts, too.
Remember the pound of coffee? You can still find it, but there's many more 10 ounce and 12 ounce packages.
We Jews love it too:-)
“We Jews love it too:-)”
Seems all the jews I know are from the baltic area, and eat baltic food. I guess the jews that are genetically indistinguishable from the palestinians eat palestinian food.
