Thank you, Mr Rogers, I appreciate some of what you say hers, but regarding the “FEEL confident” part, the writer does not say anything about INNER feelings of confidence or whatever. He’s speaking of a tactile sense of God’s power. Nothing un-Biblical about that at all.

If the focus in on the Power, the it’s on the wrong thing. It should be on Jesus.

As a rule, if you can “touch” God? It isn’t God you are touching. That isn’t generally how the Holy Spirit interacts with humans. We are called to faith, not feelings.

That isn’t Jesus. Or Christian prayer. It makes man God, or God merely some form of energy that man can control. It is more Star Wars than Jesus.
As a teen I wondered if it was ok to pray to get laid.
Exactly....if I’ve ever ‘felt’ anything in prayer it’s been a great sense of peace....the kind that passes all understanding.
