He’s a liberal and his intentions were good, and Trump is evil, so of course, no consequences is what he wants.
In other words, the leftist narrative is that you’re not an “insurrectionist” just because you trespass, riot, attack police, (attempt to) burn down Federal court houses or local businesses, or assault/shoot/kill innocent people. Per “the narrative,” that’s all protected by the right to free speech, the right to assemble “mostly peacefully” and the right to “petition the government for redress of grievances.”
No, the only criterion that makes you an “insurrectionist,” according to the left, is that you’re a “Trump supporter.” That’s bad enough. But the left’s operational definition of “Trump supporter” includes many who would reject that classification—including most libertarians and classical liberals (who reject socialism, Cultural Marxism and Critical Race Theory.)
So supporting President Trump is de facto a crime?
