I got to play a round of golf at Kanahoe with my USMC brother-in-law.

It was so nice, I thought I was on an Air Force base.

The thing that distinguishes the Air Force from the other services is the AF sends its officers out to die.

Gee, I duuno. I’m 70, not in horrible shape.

Think I could become a Marine Corps Major?? I am “exceptionally talented” in history.

Yep. These pinko fags want to debase our institutions from the inside. That is why they don’t want to just hire civilians. Sadly, there are always Quislings like Berger who are willing to help them.

Perhaps a *Marine designator is in order; something akin to *president?

Berger seems to have forgotten the mission of the Marine Corps and the use of warrant officers.

Certain enlistment contracts allowed Marines to obtain immediate E-2 rank pending completion of boot camp.

I doubt anyone had a problem with this. Sometimes credit for past experience was given in this way and the recruit still had to go through boot camp.

So AOC’s 300,000 Global Warming Army will be the new untrained Marines

“I’m not sure I’d consider someone who didn’t go through boot camp to be a real Marine.”

From what my never served civilian butt has heard that is the one single common denominator that is the glue to the USMC.
I’ve seen a Marine and a former Marine stand in the aisle of a grocery store and talk about their days on Parris Island. Even though they were a generation apart they had that in common.
I have a cousin that gave 30+ years to the USMC. He said once that whenever he saw a Marine anywhere in the world, it didn’t matter what that Marine was assigned to do, they still had Basic Training in common. Even the “Hollywood” Marines.

I don’t see how taking that commonality away can be anything but a clusterscrew of gigantic proportions.

This can’t be real.

I was a civilian i.t. contractor. I walked onto bases, i sat in offices with men in uniforms. No one ever got upset that i was there without any military training and i never once even thought about being called a soldier.

What’s changed? Can there be no more contractors?

I worked with civilian contractors in the Marine Corps as well. They never passed themselves off as Marines (unless they actually were active Marines that have since retired) - so that was never an issue.

Much respect to my Marine brethren. Semper fi, Devil Dog.

Me too. I was in the Army.

I once met the Marine heavy weight boxing champ of Quantico, we had a disagreement over his girlfriend.

Knock me out so bad, I was in a coma for three days and my head ballooned up so much, that it looked like a pumpkin.

To be fair, I did hit him first {with a full 12 ounce bottle of beer and split his nose wide open}.

He just shook his head and blood flew everywhere and I tried to slash my throat with the broken bottle, but he KO'ed me first.

Don’t do it general, you may be surprised at how many “talented” folks could not survive Army IET or AIT, regardless of how good they were at some special skill programs enticements.

Make them earn the Anchor Globe and Eagle like all other enlisted Marines. Just as the Army figured out long ago, successfully completing and achieving “Rites of Passage” are crucial to team building.

Just don’t do it. 12 weeks of Boot Camp will save you millions of lost man hours and training days.

Cyberspace Command should be contracted not rites of passage.

I don’t think President Trump views Berger as a low life. He had Berger at his Maralago gala a couple weeks ago and gave him a terrific shoutout. Which begs the question what was Berger doing yukking it up with Trump and still has his job this week? Who’s really in charge?

Fatties, trannies, homos, and AA diversity hires not required to finish boot camp even. Way to go Brandon. The last manly American thing is dead. Adios America. I am glad my ancestors are dead so they don’t have to see how easily two single commie punks killed the nation.

"certain rates (Jobs)"

Nitpick: Those are called Rating[s] such as: Boatswains Mate or Machinist Mate. Rate designates pay grade as in E-1 thru E-9.
