I don’t think a computer nerd necessarily needs bootcamp. It appears Berger is trying to beef up the corps not dilute it. Trump seems to think the world of him.
BTW if you truly believe that DJ Trump just meekly walked away from a stolen election I don’t think you have much of a feel for the man’s personality. If you believe he walked away and left us all to the wolves I don’t think you Have much of a feel for his character.
Until you divorce yourself from the MSM including Fox News you are not going to have an inkling of what is transpiring in the US and around the world. Many things are happening. Many more things are about to happen going forward.
The jobs the “good” commandant mentions are more properly filled by the Navy or civilian contractors.

You were obviously never a Marine. And a computer nerd does NOT need a USMC uniform and rank either.

Some of the pilots and maintainers from Marine Attack Squadron 211 (VMA-211) fought as infantrymen, killing one attacker and injuring another who was trying to fire an RPG at a group defending the flight line. Marines from VMM-161 (Mechanics) killed one group of five Taliban with small arms fire as they tried to advance down the flight line area.

I don’t need to be a marine to understand that a computer hacker isn’t going to be in a combat role. That’s not what their job is.

This is a plot to bring in democrats that will destroy the Marine Corps. Those that would be of great value needed in battle or leadership role during peace time would be removed and replaced with a back stabbing wuss.
LoL. They had their part same as Personnelman now renamed Personnel Specialist in the admin department. Someone had to keep track of the aboard crew.
They were on the same combat ships as I that were hunted down by Soviet subs day and night. So good for those guys while I was on the flight deck. Still, I could have used their 8 hour days with hot meals, rather the cold baloney sammiches at Zero Dark Thirty during flight ops. Poor me.
Would do all it all over again, except for almost getting cut in half from a tail rotor when the LSE wasn't paying attention. They had to pull us apart right there on the flight deck. Dumb shit was demoted.
Yeah you do need to be a Marine to understand. And you know nothing about the USMC, and how it works, and WHY it works, and how many times “non-combat” Marines have had to pick up a rifle with zero warning and fight to the death.
