“Targeting Arms Shipments ‘Fair Game’”

That is my understanding of international law as well.

Reminds me of Lusitania and WWI.

Nobody had nukes in WWI.

I wonder what the neocons will recommend if one US city is wiped out as a warning?

I don’t see how they can possibly transfer those during daylight.

When the Ukrainians started shooting back:

“Captured Russian soldiers claim they were under the impression it was a military exercise, up until the moment they came under fire from Ukrainian units.”

“....but they aren’t stupid. Don’t even see why this is news.”

What else would you expect from the DC crowd and Xiden?

They are hell-bent on launching WWIII.

I live in Sacramento and we have a very large Ukrainian and Russian population here. We even have some folks from Belarus.

Mostly nice people these days.

Up until Pidor Putin started his idiotic war of conquest in Ukraine these people rarely mixed. Now they all sing together, wave Ukrainian flags together, and they’re even going to church together.

I am obviously against this war but I am grateful that it’s brought together three communities that never really mixed before this.

Yep. California.

It’s been a nice place since we kicked out the Russian government in 1841.

From a Russian standpoint, attacking military convoys coming in to supply the Ukrainians is akin to the Americans attacking military convoys going into South Vietnam or South Korea. President Truman fired General MacArthur for, among other things, advocating bombing supply lines on the Chinese side of the North Korean border. Truman and his advisors did not want to possibly trigger the Soviets from direct involved or possibly opening up a second front in Germany. Attacking supply lines in Poland or Romania would trigger a NATO-Russian war. Is Putin more reckless than Truman?

What are YOU waiting on? What’s this “Let’s” BS? Don’t you mean “I” want to send thousands of young American boys to their deaths, just like the last time. Unless you plan to put your a$$ on the line, cut the “Let’s” crap.

And the Ho Chi Minh Trail was hands off, just fine and dandy with you? Why was the US blowing up Viet Cong arms, supplies and men in Cambodia and Thailand? Act of war against neutral countries in Asia?

“Is Putin more reckless than Truman?”

Yes. Putin is surrounded by people who are afraid to tell him when he’s wrong. Truman was surrounded by people he encouraged to speak openly and honestly.

One of the people in history that Truman admired was General Ulysses Grant who was noted for consulting his junior officers for their input and opinions prior to making decisions. Grant was not so proud that he would ignore advice from those around him.

Putin, on the other hand, can be seen on television humiliating one of his cabinet members who is clearly afraid for his life.

https://nypost.com/2022/02/22/putin-lashes-out-at-russia-intelligence-chief-in-viral-video/

The message here is that Putin only wants to hear what he wants to hear. That makes him reckless because he thinks he’s always right.

“And the Ho Chi Minh Trail was hands off, just fine and dandy with you?”

I never said that and never commented on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. But if you’d like to put up a post about the subject I’d be happy to ignore it for you.

“Fair Game” means nothing.
Old grandmas, crippled people, and babies in diapers are “fair game” to that uncultured, uncivilized monster, Putin. So what’s the point?
