Or vice versa, or a NATO plane shot down in Poland by a Uke stinger so NATO can scream Russia has attacked Poland. Or when Russia blew up that airfield 10 miles from the Polish border. One stray malfunctioning missile could have hit Poland. Or two large Uke drones have crashed in the EU last week. India accidently shot a ballistic missile deep into Pakistan last week.
I think if this thing goes WWIII, it will be over a malfunctioning piece of equipment, a navigational error, or a false flag by the Ukes.
Bad enough to get global nuclear war because of Uke Nazis, but over a retarder accident an an equipment malfunction is annoying.
fixed it

“1976: The cheating fencer”
At the height of the Cold War, one of the more egregious cheating scandals erupted during the Summer Games in Montreal. Boris Onischenko, who’d medalled in modern pentathlon in 1972, was back four years later aiming for gold. During the fencing component of the five-part compeition, athletes duel with electronically modified swords that are triggered to score a point when the tip comes into contact with an opponent.
Onischenko had an advantage, however, one that was revealed when his British opponent noticed that Onischenko was scoring points even when he didn’t make contact. As ESPN describes it, the Soviet’s sword “turned out to be wired with a clever system that allowed him to score points at will by means of a hidden trigger.” In other words, he’d lunge, hit the button, and get a point.
Onischenko was, understandably, disqualified.
Yeah except that’s delusional.
Why yes, yes you are delusional.
Correct.
Really? Sounds like the Russians don’t want to lose. I guess there just need to be more of them vaporized with NLAWS.

You don’t know how these things work, do you?
I thought so too initially, until I read deeper into the article. But think about it, if the Russians will bomb a shipment of their own weapons systems, I doubt that they will hesitate to bomb shipment of weapons systems of other nations if they believe they are headed to Ukraine.

For fairness, then arms shipments headed into UKR from Russia should be fair game for others to stop. Right?
Rush used to talk about this. He said the aggressor sets the rules. So, yes. If there are arms shipments going to Ukraine to be used against Russia, then those shipments are fair game. I’m not defending it, but that’s the way it is.
How many railroad bridges did we bomb in China to keep Chicom and Soviet arms from reaching North Vietnam? How many Soviet Bloc freighters did we torpedo to keep arms from reaching North Vietnam? If you truly cannot distinguish the real world difference between bombing the HCM Trail, which was already under de facto North Vietnamese control, where it ran through Laos and Cambodia, two third world countries, racked by internal divisions and bereft of powerful friends, which we did, and attacking the nuclear armed Soviet Union and China, which we did not, well, bless your heart.
“Act of war against neutral countries in Asia?”
We had a secret arrangement with Cambodia that “allowed” us to bomb the trail in their country. We were attacking NVA “trespassers”. The same may have been true in Thailand.
Bombing of targets inside a NATO country by Russia would be quite a bit different IMHO. Not to say that Russia might not have a reasonable argument/fear of those arms - but it sure would escalate things.
Even an attack on a European ship in open waters would be a huge deal.
It would be different in the fact that Cambodia and Thailand were neutral and were unable to stop weapons being trafficked from a belligerent, North Vietnam, through their countries. Bombing NATO weapons being transferred through NATO countries is much more legitimate than bombing neutral countries trying to stay neutral. Putin is much more justified than Johnson or Nixon. Ever consider that we were half a world away trying to stop the first domino from falling, Russia is on its border, 300 miles from Moscow, is desperately trying to keep the LAST domino from falling. We would be less guilty had the US shown the restraint Russia has so far when we were brutally bullying Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan for reasons much less justified than Putin’s.
And why didn’t we bomb Russia and China? That’s right, we didn’t want to start WWIII. The neocon maniacs running things now in DC have no such concerns about WWIII. Putin has the ability to bomb the country of origin for these NATO weapons that are and will be used to kill Russians. Putin could nuke Lima, Ohio or Seattle but he’s not as bat shit crazy as our current warmongering regime in DC is.
So you read it online. Got it.
