This hits this issue squarely on the head. Yes, leftists DO view their children as theirs and not your own. Some of them say this openly, like Terry McAullife in Virginia, much to his defeat. As is so often the case, the hubris if these bad actors overcomes their yap, and out comes the ugly truth.

Show me a grammar school or high school teacher who graduated from college in the last thirty years, and I will show you a political progressive/ liberal instructor.
The colleges and graduate schools are run by progressives/ liberals who inculcate their progressive agenda into basic teacher training.
Even the Teachers Union (NEA) offered free Sol Alynsky's books : "Rules for Radicals", and "Reveille for Radicals" to be applied in the classroom a couple of decades back.

The bill limits grooming only for K thru 3. Grooming is fully allowed in the classroom starting with 4th graders (9 year olds), who are in the same elementary school building as the younger kids.
