It’s odd that I couldn’t find it on YouTube but there was an hour-long BBC (I think) special on how the Nazis dealt with humor. It featured a pair of present-day comedians reading jokes from Nazi Germany and people being interviewed about what had happened to family members who had told jokes. Death for telling a joke was not uncommon. As was imprisonment even in the extermination camps. So, jokes where no laughing matter as Nazis can’t take being laughed at. One man had an act featuring several chimps. One night a Nazi officer asked if he could teach the chimps to salute and he said yes. As soon as the chimp saluted a Nazi everyone laughed, and the man was called up and sent to the Russian front where he died.

You grumps should listen to his show. It could make you more personable. It’s live on WMAL (9-12 Eastern) or you can hear his show’s podcast at any time.
Chris Plante is the finest conservative media analyst on air, and is gifted with a great memory, a fine sense of humor, and global experience. You apparently don’t like any of those. However, most normal people enjoy his show.
You are right about Sirius XM on weekends. I can’t stand Sonnie’s Corner on Saturday at noon. It’s a show hosted by a supposed black conservative woman who rants through the whole show about how conservatives are failing blacks.
I suspect the first association of most English speakers would be ‘clouds.’

I love how 90% of the comments here are about everything but the point of the story, which is that a “conservative” radio station fired a host that goofed on Harris.
