Biden blames Andy Warhol.
No...
He's going to blame the dinosaurs, because, without them turning into fossils, there would not been any fossil-fuels and Americans would not have become hooked on them.

My mater plants are escalating too. Got one that’s 1 1/2 foot tall now.

Sitting at the deli counter with Ketchup packets and hot water. Let’s go Brandon! There was a scene in That Girl where she did that. Except it was at Horn & Hardart.

Of note in the soup price chart, Nixon got us fully off the gold standard in 1971. Look what happened to soup prices immediately after the switch to fiat currency.

When I was in college, the Kroger’s private label chicken noodle soup was 20 cents.

I’ll gladly pay $1.25 for a can of Campbell’s tomato soup, but I can’t find it. A can of Progresso soup costs nearly $3.50.

Looky what happened when we went off the gold standard in the early 70s. I’m shocked.

Sure hope you don’t want crackers with your ketchup and hot water. Outrageous prices, if you can find them.

I paid $1.58 for a can of Campbells cream of mushroom for a recipe I’m making tonight. Other than that, I make my own soup.
To: blam
Synchronicity or coincidence or whatever you call it, I was in the store the other day and glanced at the Campbell’s Tomato soup price as a quick-n-dirty inflationary dipstick.
