I dont want DeSantis to run with Trump. DeSantis needs to run once Trump is done, not with or against him.
If the candidates Prez & VPrez are from the same state, the electors of that state cannot vote for both candidates via the 12th Amendment. So, Florida electors could vote for Trump but not DeSantis or DeSantis and not Trump. From the 12th Amendment - 1st clause in the 1st sentence
“....The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; ....”.
If one is willing give up the Florida vote for at least part of the ticket, it’s a great idea.

Anything is possible, but I think this is extraordinarily unlikely. It would be a terrible move for DeSantis. Much better off staying as Governor than becoming VP.
It should probably be someone who is willing to go to CNN or MSNBC look straight into the camera and say, the election was absolutely stolen. Not many politicians would do that. Should that be a pre-requisite? On one hand, it would be good to know this person is less likely to be swayed by Deep State advances, on the other hand it shows strength for someone to be on the ticket who isn’t fully behind the idea. I just think such a person has politics on their mind too much and wouldn’t be willing to support Trump through the storm that is sure to follow.
