In light of confirmation of FBI corruption, tip of iceberg revelations, President Trump is rightfully calling for his immediate swearing in as President or a new election.

I wholeheartedly agree because the crime of 2020 was a seminal event like no other in US history. All those criminally involved, even tens if not hundreds of thousands, must without fail, be tried and held accountable.

The only question I am deliberating is how the 22nd Amendment would work. History and the Constitution leave us no guidelines on how to recover years stolen from our elected leader.

Further, Congress must be held accountable as well as the courts.

The 45th President may end up only able to serve two years of his stolen second term, but in so doing, make way for a successor bound to a serious no-nonsense agenda of prosecutions and reforms. Perhaps that could be a DeSantis.

But whichever is the case, American history requires us to demand the following:

An Independent Presidential, States, and People’s Commission with powerful authority to:

1. Get to the bottom of the 2020 attack on the American nation including biowarfare, lawfare, election conspiracy, and an outing and arraignment of every last government, former government, employee or contractor, current and former elected officeholders, and civilians involved in the attempted takedown of the United States that led to the Coup d’Etat of 2020 and its aftermath.

2. Perform a full top-down, bottoms-up, review and threat assessment of the historical impact of digital technology on the US Constitution, the US Government, and the People of the United States, including digital currency, voting, elections, 4th Amendment privacy rights, and all other substantive impacts the Commission proposes to include in its review and assessment.

3. Produce design requirements for an election system at the national, state, and local jurisdictions that is full-proof, impenetrable to hostile influences, devoid of digital-electronic elements and influences, conforming to Article II of the Constitution, including Voter ID, National Voting Holiday, ballot security and anti-counterfeit specifications, ballot circulation monitoring, voter roll integrity, security, and maintenance standards,, minimal voter standards for appearance at official voting polls, outlawing general mail-in voting, severe restrictions on absentee voting, strict registration deadlines, preservation and public access of voting records, restrictions on party primaries such as cross-over voting, prohibition of schemes such as Ranked Choice Voting

3. A list of issues, requirements, and recommendations to be addressed within three years in drafting a Constitutional Amendment to address the conclusions and findings of the Commission’s review and assessment, appropriately framed in American history as the US Digital Technology Amendment.

Practically all of our present dangers and challenges in the arena of government and American life stem from digital technology and a lowering of standards for government service.

Our Constitution is not outdated.

Our Constitution is simply in need of strengthening against new threats.

Is A Trump-DeSantis Ticket Possible

I think one, if not both of them have too big of an ego.

“””Trump 2024 De Santis 2028 De Santis 2032”””

For MAGA that is the only ticket that makes sense.

In the original rules, electors cast TWO votes for president. Whoever got the most votes became president, and whoever came in second became VP.

There was a clause in the Constitution that said electors could not cast both their votes for PRESIDENT for people from the same state.

This system was changed early on. Electors now cast one vote for president and one vote for VP. There is no restriction saying the votes for president and VP must go to people from different states.

But, they myth still carries on. Dick Cheney changed his residence from Texas to Wyoming to avoid controversy when he ran with Bush.

And I’m sure the media would stoke the flames and say it was unconstitutional, despite knowing full well it wasn’t, just to undermine Trump & DeSantis.

And a lot of potential downside if things go south. Much better to remain his own man and not be tied to anyone else’s course.

Trump 2024 De Santis 2028 De Santis 2032

I'm with you on this one...Trump needs to choose a VP who has zero interest in being President but is capable of cleaning up all the little DC messes. That leave the slot to DeSantis in '28. Meanwhile DeSantis needs to organize Republican Governors into a fighting team... using Florida as an example of 'how to do it'.

You’re not very bright, friend.

We had better get our minds right. We are in a cold civil war and Trump is our leader. This is no time for timid political half measures. Get behend him or get the F out of the way.

The 12th amendment:

The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate; -- The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted; -- The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.-- The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

It looks to me like they could both be on the same ballot, but the Florida electors would be prohibited from voting for both of them (they would probably abstain from voting VP).

In a close race, that could result in the VP position being thrown into the Senate. No problem if there is a GOP senate majority, but what if there is a Democrat majority? Do you think they would saddle Trump with a Democrat VP? Absolutely.

Besides, they both live in Florida - that tricky Constitution says this Pres. and VP cannot be from the same state.

2016 - I voted for Trump.
2020 - I voted for Trump.
2022 - I voted for all the Trump endorsed candidates in GA (those that I could vote for).
2024 - I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee.

I sure wish he would officially back out of the 2024 race and endorse DeSantis. I wish he would appear with DeSantis at every rally and tell Republicans to vote for DeSantis for President.

Trump spends more time attacking other Republicans and talking about how he should be ‘reinstated’ as President than he does talking about Biden and Democrats. It’s just wearing me down.

Been saying this for months! Its a win, win, win.

FOUR MORE YEARS of TRUMP (with DeSantis as VP)

THEN FOUR years of DeSantis as President. (after he learns at the knee of President Trump).

THEN FOUR more years of a DeSantis Presidency.

What could be better?

You do realize that this MESS can’t be fixed in just 4 years, right?

“I don’t think Trump or Biden runs in 24”

Biden might run in 2024. I would not rule it out.

Trump will try to run in 2024 unless legal / indictment issues make that impossible.

A lot of unknowns. We are lucky to have DeSantis as a possible choice for 2024 and beyond.

NO!, So MANY more important jobs for Flynn. Too bad we can’t clone Flynn 5 times or more to fill all the critical jobs he is fully qualified for.

“The idea is to pick the VP from a state that has influence in areas or with sectors of the population where the Presidential campaign is not very strong.”

When has this actually mattered? I say its political BULLSHIRT.

There may be an issue with the EV Votes from Fla if they are both from the same state.
