If I recall, Texas was slated to gain 3 seats from the Census count but only managed 2 after some magic machinations. California was supposed to lose 2 but only lost 1.
In other words, the bastards CHEATED. Again.
This is another example of why Republicans who think all they need to do is win a couple figurehead positions in elections are idiots. Trump came to understand that the only way to restore honest government will be to raze the Capitol District to the ground. Doing anything less is like trimming a thorn bush rather than tearing it out by the roots. The rot extends all the way down.
The U.S. Constitution determines how districts and electoral votes are apportioned - NOT the Census Bureau.
This is an open and shut case. Get it filed and adjudicated, NOW before 2024.

Gee, I always thought the the census would estimate population changes through the years, but would do an actual count during the census year as a correction to their estimated data. Enumerate means count, not estimate.
Simple... because only one party is inherently dishonest and cheats. Democrats cannot maintain power if they cannot offset their declining votes by scheming for manufactured ones. They will lie, deceive, steal, stuff and count fake ballots till they win. They couldn’t care less for the suckers and useful idiots they con/buy to vote for them. It’s all about fraud, easy-money, power and self enrichment. They are politicians because they are dishonest. It is a profession of deception. A Ponzi-like scheme to keep their snake-oil con game going by finding more idiots to believe their lies along with constantly finding new ways to manufacture the votes they need that will keep their base growing faster than they are losing votes at the top due to Dem/independent voters waking up to the DNC hustle & lies... realizing they’ve been holding a worthless bill-of-goods sold to them by scammers.
What an amazing coincidence that they systematically undercounted in red states and systematically over counted in blue states. Darn the luck.

Anybody who has ever worked with their family ancestry knows that censuses are a JOKE!!! Always have been, always will be.
Reagan seemed to manage. Bush’s seemed to as well.
I believe Obungles was the first to suggest weaponizing the Census ...

Funny how the “Overcounts” are ALL dem Blue states and the “Underounts” are mostly Red states.
