I disagree, in part. I think by the end of this piece, she admitted that it was her fault, that she did things to herself, and was taking some responsibility for it. However, there is also that part that is as you said, it’s someone else’s fault.

I agree with her that this is an accurate description of experience in the transgender community. These people didn’t have her best interests at heart. They had their own best interests that they were looking after. What was best for her never mattered one whit.

Yes, it is a cult. When I was young, the news was filled with stories of cults and brainwashing.
Nowadays, young people don’t even need to leave the comfort of their homes to join a cult. They can find their “community” online, and they end up brainwashed there.

And the weird thing is that these cults aren’t organized by anyone (like Joseph Smith or L Ron Hubbard), they just crop up organically.

I hope so- i didn’t read to the end- the beginning just sounded like another ‘blame everyone else’ rant- so i only read about 1/2- heard it too many times to want to read that much blame transference- or what i thought was so-

Why reduce the population one child at a time, when you can take people in their prime reproductive years out of the gene pool entirely and forever?
This was darned interesting — I appreciate the extended excerpt. Explains a lot and the author is extremely articulate, though I assume there are multiple sources of this mess. But it gives some hope that this phenomenon will burn itself out.
