Nah, when it comes to politics, we either get Harvard/Yale lawyers (probably 85% of them) or “everyone else”.
Yeah, GED is fine for some people.
A close friend has a brother who has just a GED, and knocks down ~$400K/year in the precision machining business as a plant manager. Guy works his keister off. Definitely not the norm but a good success story.
She has a GED.
With that GED, she has been a restaurant manager, a pipeliner, and a restaurant owner. She has held honest jobs, and metaphorically signed the FRONT of paychecks.
That puts her head, shoulders, and maybe a bit more above any shitbird with a master’s degree in government from some overrated communist indoctrination facility.

What is interesting is that there is no effort by Democrats to pick up six Rhinos and form a Democrat-led coalition government. (This is what the Ds have done in Alaska.) Possibly, there aren’t even that many Rhinos in the GOP caucus any longer. Very few, if any Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger types.

At least she wasn’t brainwashed in one of our so-called universities. I don’t think she’s part of the DC social scene either so that’s a plus for her.
As you may know the pressures to conform (i.e., to get along, go along) are enormous in the DC Swamp. People who don’t go along with the Groupthink are not welcome in the elite social circles.
I think its good to have people there who think for themselves and aren’t bought out by the system.
