I read that book. It could have been a good one, but Forstchen killed it with his usual maudlin whimpering to the strains of old show tunes.
As I mentioned on a previous post, Forstchen killed what could have been a good tale by his usual insertion of maudlin whimpering over old show tunes.

I agree with you there. We CAN still turn it around. It will be difficult, and it will mean suffering for many people, most of whom will not be able to tolerate it. THAT is the problem. But, it may come down to that.

I merely pointed out that your broadbrush “free traitor” condemnation of anyone who “saved $.10 applied to you, as well, if you had ever bought anything made in China, or with Chinese components.
You called us traitors in that post (#7). Kind of harsh under the circumstances, don’t you think?

By "free traitor" I mean those who, as you correctly put it, "sold us out". As patriotic conservatives they should have known what communism is and who they were sending our manufacturing, technology, and money to, but they supported those deals anyway.
Not all of us choose to save $.10 on Chinese made goods. Many of us are now stuck with no options, thanks to the free traitors.

Interesting and I did not know that. Thanks for correcting me. I had assumed that the projects here in the US and the claimed projects in China and Russia had been successful.
