Maybe his handlers wanted to get him elected so that when he had to step down because of his health they could then put in whom they really wanted but didn’t stand a chance of being elected.

most people vote for the letter, and not the candidate.

Why not? With very few exceptions, Senators do what their party tells them to, and their staff handle all the mickeymouse stuff for individual constituents, so any warm body will do.

The Lord Himself could have run in Oz's place and Fetterman would still have won; all those living off the government would vote for the Fet, and the elections agencies in Philly and Pittsburgh would ensure enough votes in case there weren't enough of the former.

Voters who want the Dems to take care of them are not bothered by who is in the seat. If Fetterman were to reap his eternal reward tomorrow, someone else who will vote the way Chuck Schumer says will be appointed to the seat, and then in 2024 will win (cf. previous paragraph). The issue is always the revolution.

Kathy Barnette would have beaten Fetterman in the general.

No, Oz sucked and a bunch of us said so.

The idea that a dual citizen, carpetbagging Muslim would get support from Pennsyltucky was idiotic.
We said it the day Trump endorsed that fake POS.
Enough Trump worshipping retards pulled Oz over the primary line.

Sheep get slaughtered. Reap it.

It’s not about people knowing. It’s about the machine.

20,000 people in the Pittsburg area not only voted for Fetterman, but also voted for a dead guy, who won reelection in part because he ran unopposed.

The PA state GOP is an embarrassment.

The PA dem party is motivated, organized, and committed. They line up behind their candidates, whoever they are, and they keep their powder dry in primary contests.

The PA Republican party leadership hates the values and candidates of the voters it supposedly represents, and they are steadfast in holding on to their grip on power.

The GOP in Philly long ago surrendered the city to the dems in exchange for control of patronage jobs.

Big cities are cesspools for democrat politics and politicians, but it’s also where the most people are, and even if every elected office in a city is a dem, there are still scores of republicans living there that need to be reached and encouraged to vote.

Just think of all those tight statewide races over the years that would be tipped if another 5% of votes could be squeezed out of the city.

Yes, Fetterman is mostly a vegetable, but so are the people who were supposed to stand up and help defeat him.

“a quack doctor”

He might have been a poor candidate but to call him a quack shows just how much of a demented C-sucking prick is whoever wrote this.

Let me know when this prick has the same qualifications OZ has.

Oz later bucked the system for healthcare that worked for the prevention of heart problems..a stand which resulted in lots of problems since these hospital surgery dept’ liked to do heart surgeries that would not be necessary if preventative measures had been taken.

He might have been a poor Candidate, but he is in no way a Quack.

I think Pennsyltucky has many retards who voted for Fetterman because he makes them feel like they’re smart and capable instead of — well, retarded.

The people voted for Fetterman and a player to be named later, instead of Oz. They wanted their governor to pick Fetterman’s successor.

The Free S*** Army votes D no matter what.
The fact that Oz had probably the most impressive educational background of any Senator ever doesn’t matter.
“I might turnout” people didn’t for Oz, and fewer flip-floppers flipped.

That he was a suck candidate? Just a guess.
——
If Oz was a suck candidate what did that make Fetterman? A stellar, articulate, personable genius?

The son of a bitch that wrote this would have called Bill Frist a quack.

And then he won, because the Republicans decided to nominate a quack doctor from Oprah.

Correction: He won because of voter fraud.

I suppose in the Rust Belt, there are still too many that believe the Democrats are the “Party of the Little Guy”.

The DemonRat party is not the party of the little guy.

The DemonRat party is the party of the rich folks nowadays and the party of little guy is the Republican party.

President Ronald Wilson Reagan changed that for me and I opened my mind to the Republican party.

The Panama Canal which was built by Americans was given to Panama and they sold it to the Chicoms.

It still pisses me off when I think of the Chicoms owning the canal.

“Well somebody voted for him.”

______

You are asserting facts not in evidence. LOL! It’s Pennsylvania, where the vote counters get to decide the winner, and not necessarily the voters.

Oz is extremely intelligent and accomplished but it didn’t matter.

Frist and others have been MDs (Ron and Rand Paul) as well.

For whatever reason, posters here forget how average IQ people think, and how little they pay attention to politics.

I would say lack of information, or skewed information, is more important than a voter’s IQ and a politician’s CV.
