Leave Humblegunner Alone!!!
its funny how dogs have an innate sense of danger aroudn snakes- was traveling along a road one day, and there was a freshly killed rattler on the road- i stopped- opened the door to take a look, and my pup saw the snake and started growling- even at a young age she knew danger when she saw it it seems
I had a chiropractor who kept his Rottie in the office with him. When we patients were on the tables, Dog would walk around and make sure we were all ok.
I guess it was uncomfortable for some people, but I liked having him come in and check on me.
The dog to alert the owner and the mongoose to go after the snake.
Humblegunner gets under my skin once in a while but all and all i’m good..........
No, Humblegunner is in Belize, retired, and not looking at Free Republic.
Seriously? No opus, no nothin?
Hilarious!
So, he was responsible for the “Lab” report?
That was my first thought also.
LOL!
+1000!
Lol, or a honey badger
I am just curious as to how much money you can make by excerpting your own blog and FReeloading here on Free Republic.
How much money do you make off of every hit on your page? Is it very lucrative?
We grew up with an female Irish Setter and she followed us kids everywhere. One morning in the middle of summer us and some of the neighborhood kids were playing basketball and she was standing guard in the road near a ditch line a little ways from the driveway where we were playing, marching back and forth.
The ball went in that direction during the game and she leapt into the ditch before any of us got there and came out with a three and a half foot Copperhead. She grabbed it right behind the neck and killed it deader than Julius Caesar. One of the neighborhood parents heard us talking about it and came out and made sure it was dead and disposed of it and checked the ditch line just to make sure. Sandy was a good protective girl!
Humblegunner gets after the ‘users’ here; and provides comic relief in the process.
I want to see him back.
Chiropractors don’t generally do ‘labs’ (though one did take a hair sample on me, to discover my mineral nutrition...turned out I was excellent :-)
