That's the problem. You are relying on what morons on the internet say and your reading from Google results from bail bond websites. 2010 is irrelevant. The operative provisions of the Florida Criminal extradition statute have been unaltered since 1941.
I'm providing you with the actual Florida Code, the United States Code, case law from Florida Courts and the United States Supreme Court.
You just desperately want your internet comments to be correct, so you ignore everything that doesn't match with your worldview.
Do you know what is even funnier, I found the internet website that you think is the authority, and you can't even process what they are saying.

Cite me the specific provision of the Florida Code which you think limits extradition to felonies. Be specific. I want a specific code section, the same as I provided for you. (941.02).

If the defendant has proof that he could not have committed the crime because he was not in the state where the crime occurred when it occurred, then extradition can sometimes be defeated. But those cases are extremely rare. Absent that, the governor is powerless to do anything but grant a governor’s warrant and send the defendant back to the issuing state.
