In other words, he is hoping to be Trump’s vice president.
Maybe he’s sticking his nose in to try and get a Trump VP nod? Otherwise he has zero chance.
Good. I keep hearing the Republicans have a talented bench.
“Let’s see it.”
That or he’s just burnishing his political credentials. That’s why you run for the nominee position, when you have no chance of winning. It allows you to try and earn a committee position to horse trade favours.
I’ve seen this in Canadian politics all the time. I assume it’s the same thing in America why somebody runs for the nomination that they have no hope of getting.
I do like Tim Scott, at least in the past. He seems to have become corrupted as of late.
Wait.
Has he just written a book?
Tim Scott does not have an ounce of charisma or intrique.
People like that can still win elections, but it would usually be based on how effciently they perform their jobs.
I have the feeling, Tim would see Race before seeing the matter at hand.
Will we see nonstop middle of the night tweets from trump upset over Scott running? Not on your life.
Running for President or fundraising for his next senate election? It is hard to tell with Senators.
Tim Scott would be an interesting addition to the mix.
I am looking forward to a vigorous campaign with many candidates.
Besides, if Trump does end up in prison, the Republicans will need a Plan B.
I predict he’ll be relegated to the “kiddie table” debates.
I hope the gop debates are as entertaining as the 2015/2016 debates.
Or maybe Timmy wants a cabinet level position.
What is it with South Carolina and in unmarried guys as senators? Some kinda Bud light cell?
Will we see nonstop middle of the night tweets from trump upset over Scott running? Not on your life.
******
Trump doesn’t waste tweets on non viable candidates.
However, he’s probably called every one of them with the same message:
How do feel about being my VP?
“Trump likes talking to people.”
I hope the gop debates are as entertaining as the 2015/2016 debates.
********
If Trump “blows off” the debates, the ratings will be terrible.
We’ll have 10 Republican pygmies and a liberal debate host, they’ll be as relevant as 11 chimpanzees at a zoo.
I would hope that Trump would know not to pick a Rino for his V.P. If he ever did, I wouldn’t vote for the ticket, even though I love President Trump. I wouldn’t vote for a Rino President or V.P. even if Jesus was on the ticket.
Charleston used to be the poor poofter's Key West. Over the years it has attracted
a lot of Friends of Dorothy. Graham and Scott are supposedly Friends of Dorothy.
Their Plan B wouldn't garner my vote.
LOL! He's another Lindsey Graham, just a bit darker.
