No matter the race, White, brown, black, yellow or red...there are only exceptions because some people ARE exceptional in what they choose to do in or with their lives. Not everyone can be a Babe Ruth OR a Jackie Robinson in baseball. Not everyone can be a Cher or Tina Turner in music. “Pull yourself up by your own bootstraps” has nothing to do with lifting yourself into the air. It refers to strapping on your work boots to get ready to go to work. In other words, improving one’s situation through hard work and self-determination, rather than getting assistance from someone else.
So, I guess what the View seems to be saying is that if a black person wants to avoid racism, become a black conservative. In other words, conservatives are not racists and treat black people as individuals. Sometimes, clowns and idiots speak truth when they intend an insult.
