All the things you mentioned about Gays and Tranny’s are local and State issues.
Not Federal issues.
Trump is not running for being Governor of a State.
He is running for President.
As such, he will never be able to pass a Federal Law banning Tranny Shows
for Kids, etc. Only local and State politicians have the power to do that.
So what FLA does cannot be done on a National Scale.

Oh give me a flipping break. First of all, DeSantis is governor of the state where Trump resides, and he still criticizes him over his anti-pedo/groomer stance. Second of all, this is NOT a state’s issue. If the country can’t agree over the fundamental truths of gender, you cannot have an organized society. Period.

When DeSantis starting reopening Florida in phases (circa June 2020), he unfortunately scaled back COVID testing in nursing homes. My father (83 years old at the time) caught COVID and died that November while staying at such a facility.
While I’m not blaming DeSantis for his death, the more frequent testing that had been in place earlier in the year could conceivably have caught it sooner, and in time for treatment. There was no compelling reason to scale back nursing home testing that soon. So, on the whole, while his handling of COVID was better than a number of other states, it was far from perfect.

Who’s talking about a lifetime of fealty? We’re talking basic loyalty. Trump has one more term for which he’s eligible. Does DeSantis really feel so strongly that Trump (a man who DeSantis praised throughout his presidency) winning in 2024 would be such a disaster for the country that he has a duty to step in and run?
Does he really think he would be significantly better than the man whose endorsement he sought and with whose policies he enthusiastically adopted?
The man’s an opportunist, plain in simple, and he possesses none of those rare qualities Trump possesses, that have allowed him to play such a historic role in American politics for the past 8 years.
