President Stupid signed away $400 million in voter fraud assistance funding buried in the CARES Act.

DeSantis, thanked Trump for signing the CARES Act. He said that it was "much-needed".

Trump seems a lot more bothered about elevating DeSantis than he does Fauci, who ended his presidency.

He’s running in a race against a quasi-incumbent president with a minimum ~35% of the primary electorate who will stick with him no matter how much of the left-wing program he adopts. It’s hard to win a race, especially in a crowded field, when that many people are voting for a cult hero and yet to DeSantis still has about 20%.

The race is still very early and hopefully all the pretenders exit the race after Iowa. If DeSantis can scoop up most of their supporters, he’s got a shot to gather some momentum and win.

As long as we’re foreclosing hypotheticals, Trump won’t be president again anyway. The best you’ll ever be able to do is pretend that it’s a possibility for the next 15 months and then claim the election was stolen again (which begs the question of why Trump is even running).
