Dumb, dumb, dumb. One thing you do not do is to threaten, not even cryptically, the life of anyone on social media, or a forum such as FR, or anyplace that is easily monitored. PERIOD.
I recall folks threatening obama’s life a few years back. That was wrong for two reasons. First it could get you into prison or killed. Second if anyone actually did whack obama it would send the nation into a civil war ASAP. The same goes for Biden or Trump.
I like Trump’s idea, which is to charge and imprison Biden once elected.

Their message to all such folks out there is.. we’re coming for you, too, if you dare oppose us even vocally or on the internet.
The guy was a dummy for posting that, but it shouldn’t have been a death sentence.
A social media post isn’t a threat. It is, by it’s public nature, an expression of general discontent. The “threats” made by Madonna and many other leftists against Trump are such examples.
A legitimate threat is generally made specifically, directed toward that person, by mail, phone message, or other private means.
