YES! The ‘data’ is what kept the shrew and wicked witch from stealing territory…. But the Trans -Republicans always benefit no matter who ‘wins’ office. The Trans-Republicans are the tuxedo wearing members of the simmering cauldron, also known as ‘the swamp’!

The Cheney, Romney, lord McCain and Bush factions sold USA out…. There are many of this ilk right here on FR who make Biden look Saintly..

Trump may be unorthodox, but he knows how to get the job done, and antagonize all the right people along the way.

Please read the “Go Deep” link within article.

Here is the direct link:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/07/07/the-club-battle-donald-j-trump-is-not-the-cause-of-republican-failure-he-is-the-result-of-their-failure/

“However, when there is a battle for control of the corporation, a battle that will ultimately determine the financial outcome, the internal battle becomes the priority.

2024 is going to be the election season when we see this corporate battle explode inside in the Republican group. Decades of entrenched power are at stake, and there has been four years of counter positioning and backroom discussion leading up to this moment.“

“Donald Trump is not a problem for the Republican Party; Donald Trump is our response to the problem within the Republican Party.

When you hear the billionaire donor influence group saying the two priorities for control of the Republican Club involve, (1) eliminating populism in the ranks; and (2) realigning with multinational corporate objectives (vis a vis Wall Street), what they are publicly expressing is their RNC corporate need to get rid of the America First economic agenda; to get rid of the MAGA influence.”

One of the big reasons the rnc wants the names of Trump supporters - to grift off them and get their portion of donations....

How to avoid that and giving winred their share also?

mail in contributions directly

Direct donation to Trump campaign
Mail in campaign contributions to the Trump campaign, which AVOIDS WINRED GETTING A CUT.
Info for contributing to joint fund with splits contributions 90/10
see
https://gettr.com/post/p2hkp5h24a0
If you want to specifically designate funds, do so in the letter with your contributions.
For more info on contributions see the contribution page of DonaldJTrump.com
The mail in form is at the start of the text, after the winred online submission section.
So, to designate funds and avoid winred, don’t use the online page, mail in your contritution.

"President Trump snubbing the RNC debate in Wisconsin is a
direct shot against the RNC as a private corporation."

The President Trump/Tucker Carlson interview streaming during the
Gomers  OPolitics convention would allow President Trump real
time to critique his lightweight opponents.

I read this:

"...As a consequence, and I know this might sound odd to many people – but winning and/or losing elections becomes a secondary issue. The people who control the RNC as a private corporation are not focused on winning elections. The RNC corporation is focused on retaining mission control..."

I know this statement was about the RNC, but...birds of a feather and all that...made me think..."Who in the Republican Party do I view as being the epiotome of this mindset?"

The answer sprang to me unbidden: Mitch McConnell.

And then I thought: "In the 2020 election loss, who was the one person that seemed utterly not to care that he was no longer in the majority party?

Again: Mitch McConnell.

The RINO RHINIOEST of them all.

Sundance has a lot of well-formed insight into our political culture.

“”In the 2020 election loss, who was the one person that seemed utterly not to care that he was no longer in the majority party?”

But Mitch did care about winning reelection to his Senate seat in 2020. He sought and received Trump’s endorsement for his 2020 reelection campaign.

Then mitch turned around & ran up the white flag to surrender control of the senate to the dems.

At this point Trump is a protest vote, because we aren’t voting our way out of this mess, period.

Well of course Trump supported him. That was my point.

In the context of the article, Sundance makes the point that they really don’t care if their side wins or loses nearly as much as long as THEY win and still have a place near the top of the Gravy Train where they can lap up the perks of being part of “The Club”.

Sure, he won’t be Number One in the Senate if it is controlled by the Democrats, but he will be Number Two. And being Number Two, where you are the second person in line to lap from the fruits of that slop trough is not much different for your personal wealth and the benefits you get from it than being Number One.

Not sure what Trump’s endorsement or non-endorsement has to do with the discussion.

That endorsement crap is just politics, and Trump had to learn as much as he could about “politics” in politics (vs “politics” in business) and when he had to, he took the advice of those around him, who we now know, served their master (the Deep State) and not him.

Not that even if Trump’s advisers were completely dedicated to serving his political interests could they have advised Trump to do anything other the fully support McConnell in his re-election.

What would they say to Trump? “McConnell has seven Republican challengers. Not a single one of them is polling above 2%, none of them has any experience and no chance to win, but we recommend you support one of those candidates who is MAGA.”

Of course not. They are going to say “McConnell has seven Republican challengers. Not a single one of them is polling above 2%, none of them has any experience and no chance to win, so you have to endorse McConnell if you want to get anything done. If you don’t endorse him, he is going to win anyway, and you will be a dead duck.”

Trump’s support for someone in McConnell’s position is just politics in the framework of the American political system, good or bad, and in this discussion of the Deep State, is a non-sequitur.
