What has frustrated me over the years is that we have never had a plan or method to counter them. What we do best is listen to how awful everything is daily on radio, video and even here on FR.

One of our biggest push backs was the tea party.....which faded away. The left doesn’t quit.

The vast majority of people had no clue as to what was happening, and how it was organized.

Now they are starting to figure it out. You cannot defeat an opponent you do not know exists.

President Trump had no idea what he was up against when he first took office.

He is much wiser now.

The biggest weapons on the left are lies and deceit.

They have to be countered with truth and exposure.

The Tea Party didn’t have a leader. MAGA has a leader.

The best non violent tactic we can use during this cold civil war is to defund the left. The major left wing controlled institutions: universities, the media, Hollywood are suffering economic difficulties. We need to cut them off from the federal teat. The handful of left wing billionaires can be targeted as well.

Exactly correct. 99% of the Leftist takeover has been funded by tax dollars.

A key killer class is all the college graduates, whether leftist or not, male or female, went to seminaries to obtain certification to be ordained to the clergy class of major denominations that exert external power structure over the local churches of "lay" people, thus destroying the basis of the concept that "all men are created equal."

The prime example of a religion first conceived as the religious organ of a state is the Roman Catholic Church (emphasis on "Roman," not "Church") whose Constantine/Augstine comcept that finally superseded whole nations to control them all. Mohammedanism is structured similarly, a religio-political reign over a populace that has given up the rights of the individual, rejecting any opposition by murdering its opponents, as did the Romanists.

Other episcopacies L(utheran, Anglican/Episcopal, M"Methodist"-Episcopal) descended from the RCC pattern to become the suprachurch liberal power structures which have brought to none effect the ideas conceived by our nation's Founders.

Though generally anti-RCC in its origins, the Presbyterian/"Reformed" denominations have become equally liberal in their formation of the same kind of Nicolaitan two-class clergy/laity aristocracy, finally even giving way to the unbiblical admission of females to the clergy class of tyrants, the dominant class whose purpose is to overwhelm the common constituents in its thoughts and behaviors.

And out of that basis comes the ungoverned and ungovernable leftist radicals, as well as the "rightist" supremacists. Very few of our existing population base seems to be aware that is the influence of leftist liberal pulpits across the nation that have done us in.

The only places you will find truly egalitarian libertarian conservatives are those in independent fundamental Bible-preaching local autonomous assemblies of Christ-following committed brethren (and sisters) that today still manifest the principles on which our nation was founded, living them daily and faithfully.

Really? Where are you seeing this?

When I counter people with truth I see eye glazing. They don’t want to hear it. Truth will tear down tyranny once it takes hold?

The concept of government as god or God is very old, much older than the Roman Empire.

The Egyptians claimed godhood. Lots of governments claimed godhood. There were even African mini-states where the leader claimed to be have eternal life and godhood in the earl 20th century.

The combination of religion with government is much more common than otherwise.

It has to do with colleges becoming the gatekeepers to high positions and with what colleges are teaching, but the rest of the Western world is in the same boat, so the causes go deeper than just what happened in America (or in Western Europe).

Two world wars disillusioned Europe (Vietnam did the same for the US). Older values and institutions were discredited in the eyes of many people. People in Western Europe, and now in the US, feel like they’ve already reached their peak and begun to decline. The lack of confidence in one’s society and its values causes further decline.

The West has always valued and taken pride in progress. At some point, the idea of progress was discredited or transformed into something that looks a lot like decadence. Western civilization can’t stand still. It has to be on the move, even if it moves towards dissolution or destruction.

That is so, and our Constitution doe not deny it, but it does NOT authorize the formation of religion as an organ of the state, or of support of it by the state, as it has been perpetrated by all European nations.

Unclear to me what is religious about the statement. It echoes what Marshall MacLuhan wrote about. MacLuhan later become a Catholic, and there’s nothing wrong with that either.

That is certainly a different perspective on the question. But rich countries often bypass religion entirely. Give to 17th or 18th or 19th century Americans all the worldly goods and distractions that we have now, and they wouldn’t have been as pious as they were, maybe not immediately, but over time, yes. As America grew richer, men and women brought up in fundamentalist groups often abandoned the religious teachings they’d been brought up with. And indeed, those denominations you spurn have become what they are now because the world has changed.
