It’s the same reason why community organizers want to keep POCs in he inner city: by keeping them all together, they keep them dependent, keep them from moving about the country and finding successes they can be proud of. They keep them as poster children. They keep them as their mascots.
I looked for one keyword in the article: Jordan
Apparently the author doesn’t know or ignores what the Palestinians and their masters did in Jordan when they were let in as refugees.
Always interesting to read the truth.
Open sore or not. UN or not. They’re savages and have proven so for decades.
This answer, from 1952, is only part of it. The bigger reason is, the Arab world hates the Palestinians, and know that allowing them to enter their countries only creates problems both financial and political.
That they want the Palestinian problem to persist and act as a cat's paw against the West is, to the Arab world, a nice byproduct.
They don’t want a repeat of Black September, which might happen if any country took the Palestinians.
You did more than me. Though it’s a good premise (the OP title), any article using the word ‘palestinian’ which doesn’t cite the lie isn’t worth reading.
It's worse than that by several orders of magnitude.
By keeping the Palestinian refugees as stateless persons, and refusing them the ability to migrate to other Arab nations, they keep them as a servant class. They give the Palestinian refugees, some of them four generations living in Syria, or Jordan, or Egypt/Gaza, no choice but to resent and hate the Jews.
On the other hand... this forced prison state has been going on for so long that if they were to tomorrow become citizens of the nations where they were born, the refugees in Lebanon would immediately overwhelm the government of Lebanon, and probably similarly disrupt the Syrian, Jordanian, and Egyptian governments, turning some of them into terror states, or at least creating newly enhanced terror enclaves within those nations.
At Gonzaga, we had a choice on Wednesday night: ham or strawberry waffles.
I was going to make a similar comment but you said it so much better than I could have...
The Palestinian pattern of kidnappings, hijackings, assinations, and tring to overthrow their host government in Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Kuwait sets a pattern that Egypt is not ready to follow.
Just like our left and blacks or any other victim group.
What did they do in Jordan?
They tried to overthrow the government and assassinate King Hussein. Google “Black September.”
OK.
Thanks.
There’s so much going on over there that it’s hard to keep straight who is doing what to whom and when.
In retrospect, it seems a shame that the “International Peace & Diplomacy Community” didn’t just STFU and let the Jordanians solve the problem.
The duty of every Mozlem is to spread Islam. Merely moving Mozlems between Islamic countries does not help that goal. They must move out into countries not yet infected.
I don’t either. Do you have a link?
Excellent points. I was in Kuwait at the end of the 100 hr war.Paliscum were being rounded up and marched into the desert.
I seem to recall a story when the Palestinians were trying some revolt in Jordan. The old king had all the wounded Palestinians rounded up so the king could filmed riding his white horse and lobbing heads off.
