Desertification. : Make America the Sahara!
This guy needs a stop put to him. He is insane.
Remember when we were assured that the “rain forests” were saving us all from carbon dioxide poisoning and that cutting them down was dangerous and racist and exploitative?
WHAT AN EVIL MOVE!!! IT’S ALL ABOUT CONTROLLING US AND KILLING US OFF!!
OK, I’ll do it. I’m old.
Gonna need some cover and funds.
This tard is out of control
Heh; don’t be.
They’re publicly burning the eco-candle at both ends, to cover all the bases.
But I’d like to take the wife to Atlantic City one last time.
SPJNK.
That makes NO sense at all.
Apparently wildfire CO2 emissions far exceed vegetation CO2 uptake....more here:
Yeah, they have been screaming about the deforestation of rainforests and its destructive impact on the environment for decades and now this?
You don't need to be confused about what they do. If it's the most evil, destructive, and senseless thing someone can choose to do, the leftists will be on board with it.
If ever there is proof of the deceptive power of the Devil, this is it.
Also, aside from the total lack of sense in this, do they really think you can cut down and bury that many trees without using tons of fossil fuels and releasing massive amounts of CO2 in the air from running chain saws and earth moving equipment???
It takes real genius to believe in something so stupid.
When you you conclude that should should do something so stupid, you need to start questioning your assumptions and your logic.
“Um...trees generate O2 not CO2. Plus rotting veg mass will produce greenhouse gasses.
Something ain’t right here?”
Yep, exactly. It is just another fork of the great culling. They are so insanely obsessed about doing this they won’t bat an eye at killing off all species to do it.
Isn’t he targeting already-captured carbon? Captured by the ultimate in carbon-capturers? It’s silly, and insane.
California is already doing the thinning/forest management now, but that leaves “unmarketable biomass” left over after the “chipboard”/OSB/sawmills/mulch industries take what they want. “Kodama” looks to “sequester” the CO2 that would be otherwise released from the burning of the biomass “unmarketable leftovers”. See their FAQ here:

(Not an endorsement by me, just some info.)
If that is true there is a lot of forest thinning to do in the west but paying slime like Gates to bury the trees for government money instead of lumber manufacturers is the high of their religious stupidity.
The lumber manufacturers/sawmills/mulch plants, etc. (the ones that are left after the tree-huggers/Sierra Club had their reign in the 70’s & 80’s 90’s) have all the material they can handle right now (I drive past several on the way to my Mom’s place in the hills of CA)...there is plenty of “slash” (i.e. “unmarketable biomass”) left over that would normally be burned.
diabolically brilliant to come up with a way to make trillions of dollars off of a naturally abundant substance that is literally in everything and then, even though it’s free, convince an entire planet that they should pay something for it...even though IT IS FREE! gotta wonder about the level of intelligence that humans possess when they can be convinced that they should pay their hard-earned cash out for something that is absolutely free to anyone simply because some rich snake oil salesman told them they need to. people, as a whole, are dumb.
And whatever happened to spotted owls? It seemed like every tree must have been infested with them from the ways the lefties protested every tree cutting.
