That is a common trait of a sociopath, and I was raised with a sociopath.
My brother was officially diagnosed as a sociopath at age 13 in 1969/70. He was always in trouble with the law, would run away for weeks at a time, eventually wound up in jail, then prison and finally at age 50 overdosed on drugs.
He never could keep a job for more than a few months. He would steal anything not bolted down he could sell for drug money.
He always blamed his ‘troubles’ on someone else, never accepted responsibility for anything he ever did, and would lie straight to your face. He never cared for anyone but himself...............
