The problem with Grassley is he has been part of the political class for too long.

Let’s put it this way...

He was elected to the Senate when I was a junior in high school.

He served in the US House from 1974 thru 1980.

He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1958 thru 1974.

When he started his political career in 1958, I was not even alive.

No one, regardless of whether there’s an R or D behind their name, should hold political office for that long!

Of course, there is no rule or law to support Grassley’s endeavors.

Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley is being treated for an infection, his office said Tuesday...Grassley, 90, is receiving antibiotic infusions at an area hospital. His team says he is “in good spirits” and will return to work when cleared to do so.

Been there done that recently and it was no picnic--and I'm about 25 years younger than him. Prayers up for the Senator.

And, let's not forgot this comment by Grassley:

This despite the fact Biden has intentionally left the border open and is aiding and abetting illegal immigration, which, in and of itself, is an impeachable offensive.
