I think Europe wrote off the US when the Euro nations had to send their own military in on helicopters to get their citizens out of Kabul; it's a safe bet that every country that engages in any kind of a foreign venture with the "greatest country in the world" will have quietly prepared a contingency plan for another instance of American ineptitude when their citizens' lives may be at risk.
