Wow, what a story of government malfeasance and waste. But is there any other kind of government?

Oh, I forgot to mention that just prior to these things, the school had a brand new cafeteria with a metal roof built, and it was demolished when the developer took over..........

The soon to be renamed Francis Scott Key bridge will take about that long to build.

In 1994 during the Northridge earthquake part of the Santa Monica Fwy(I-10) collapsed. Gov Wilson (R) waived a bunch of regulations and got the Fwy reopened in weeks instead of months.

Should Biden manage to cause the taxpayers to pay for the bridge, I wonder how much the Biden crime family will get from shaking down the insurance companies for causing them not to pay for it?

That’s not what is happening here. There is no need to maintain traffic on the old bridge while the new one is being built.

So two lanes go the one on the roundabout and feed the bridge from the right while the two lane feeding the bridge directly are maintained.

One wonders what happens at rush hour if three or four retirees take their cars and just go round and round in the roundabout for an hour.

“OK, so you tell me what the trucks are going to do for the next 7 years?”

Go the long way round on 695 west of Baltimore.

Death by engineering. Public works projects of all kinds are nothing but an endless supply of billable hours for engineering firms.

I forgot to place my wager on black cultural heroes likely to have the new bridge in Baltimore named after them. I guess I’ll take a stab at it. My money is on the O J Simpson Memorial Bridge.

There aren’t as many starving Irish and Chinese as there were back then.
