Don't forget dem debate tonight (8pm FNC), HLL is there!

She's sitting on the floor about 25 rows back, left side looking at the stage.

She's wearing pink and probably has really big hair. :-)

Go get 'em HLL!

I started to watch the illustrious affair, and decided to mute the sound and read what was being said. John Kerry calling President Bush a liar set my hair on fire, I had to leave the room. And when dipsey doodle Al Sharpton babbled on about watermelon and oranges, I could take no more.

I'm surprised HLL hasn't jumped out of her seat yet.

ARE YOU A B.I.T.C.H. ?

Some friends were sitting at the bar talking about their professions.

The first guy says "I'm a Y.U.P.P.I.E., you know... Young, Urban,
Professional, Peaceful, Intelligent, Ecologist"

The second guy says "I'm a D.I.N.K., you know... Double Income, No Kids."

The third guy says, "I'm a R.U.B., you know... Rich, Urban, Biker."

They turn to the woman and ask her, "What are you?'"

She replies: "I'm a W.I.F.E., you know... Wash, Iron, Fetch, Etc."

A second gal answers their question before they even ask "B.I.T.C.H."

What exactly is a BITCH?!? they ask in unison. " Babe In Total Control of
Herself."

So ladies, next time somebody calls you a "Bitch" SMILE... and say "Thank
You!!"

Let us all please not forget who won the most popular votes on the last go-round. (Vote scams not included.)

A very scary thought for our future...

After watching last night's awful "debate", it occurred to me that some journalist needs to go back and watch the pubbie debates from 2000. Do you know someone in the media who would do that?

After all the "Clinton-hater" labels the media put on pubbies back then, someone responsible should go back and compare those debates to what we witnessed last night. I'm sure there was a snide remark here or there about Clinton, but I KNOW it wasn't anywhere near as vitriolic as the poison being spewed from these donkeys everytime they open their pie-holes.

If you don't know someone, I'm going to start at the NRO "Corner". Someone's got to do that comparison.

Tony Blair denies Clinton's claim about the heart condition!! Ha, quelle surprise. Here's the story:

Downing Street says it is "mystified" by reports that Tony Blair discussed his health problems several years ago with Bill Clinton. Mr Blair's spokesman insisted that his irregular heart beat, which caused him to be hospitalised briefly last week, had never happened before.

But ex-US President Clinton was quoted in the Sunday Mirror as saying: "I've known about this for a long time. He told me about it quite a few years ago.

"As soon as I heard what happened, I called to check he was OK. We had a talk and he sounded in good shape."

Mr Blair's spokesman said: "What we have said has been based on the opinion of those who have been responsible for the Prime Minister's medical care. We are slightly mystified by this story as this is the first time this has happened.

"The Prime Minister does not have, and has never had, a heart condition and he has never had this complaint before. It would have needed treatment.

"What we have said has been based on the clinical advice of doctors. This has never happened before and there is no reason why this should re-occur.

"Were the Prime Minister to have had anything like this before, it would have required treatment. All we can go on is what the clinicians told us and, as they have said, this has not happened before and there is no reason why it should recur."

Asked if the Prime Minister had had the conversations with President Clinton, the spokesman replied: "I have not been present at every single conversation the Prime Minister has had with President Clinton," he said. source.

I would think Sean Hannity or Tony Snow could do a bang-up job of comparing the GOP debates and last night's hatefest, as they have the archival resources at their disposal.

Half the missiles that hit the Hotel Rachid in Bagdhad yesterday were French made, produced after the embargo imposed after the Gulf War. Story in the U.K. paper, The Sun. Merci buckets, Jacques.

Viagra Stunt: A group of 12 and 13-year old schoolboys in Britain were released from a London hospital after taking Viagra in class. Of course, a bunch of 12 and 13-year old boys need Viagra as much as... (Here are the Top 10 ways to finish that sentence):

Liza Minnelli needs another drink
a Quentin Tarantino movie needs more gratuitous violence
Liza Minnelli needs boxing lessons
The cubs need more fans diving for foul balls
Liza Minnelli needs another tastycake
Dennis Kozlowski needs another $6,000 shower curtain
Liza Minnelli needs another freak show star for a husband
Congress needs another pay raise
Ben and J. Lo need another engagement
all of us need to read anymore stories about Liza Minnelli (NOVAK)

Checking in from SD County...So far, so good for us. We have not been evacuated, though we are about five minutes from one of the fires and 20 minutes from another-since there are at least 7 separate fires, almost everyone in the County is close to one of them.

Many, many homes have been lost (hundreds) and thousands of acres destroyed. The fires are somewhat under control but none of them are contained and if the winds kick up, there will be problems again. It is very dark outside and our yard is covered with ashes. All schools, most businesses are closed and we have been adhering to instructions about not driving or using excess water or electricity. Sorta like snow days back East, gotta stay inside and hope for the best.

I don't anticipate we will have to evacuate but if we do, I will make sure I pack my pearls and devilled egg dishes along with my photos, clothes etc.

A burnt out deck hangs over a canyon ledge as the Santa Ana winds bend the trees after a wildfire swept through the neighborhood Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003 in San Diego. Wildfires that have burned for days merged into walls of flame stretching across miles in parts of Southern California on Sunday, leaving 11 people dead, burning 500 homes and frustrating overmatched firefighters who worked relentlessly against fierce winds. I heard that the inside of homes smell like fire. I hope that you and your family remain safe. These fires are far beyond anything I could ever have imagined. The closest anyone in my family is to the fires is Palm Springs and the rest are all in the Bay area. The only thing we worry about is earthquakes.
