Slavery Question: Please Help.

I am having a discussion with an extremely liberal friend of mine, and he made the claim that only Christian white societies have ever been involved in slavery.

The Romans, the Greeks, the Hebrews, the entire Islamic world, the black pre-colonial nations which sold their brothers into slavery to whites, the Aztecs, the Caribs (although they ate their slaves), the Celts (St. Patrick was a Briton captured by Irish slave raiders), the Babylonians, the Egyptians, is that enough?
