Gramps was a very wise, prescient guy - he and my gramps may be hanging around in Heaven discussing their time in the Argonne...

RIP warriors.

Thanks, lod. I think my grandfather, and yours, would be dismayed at the current American culture.

Too true. Back in the mid-60's, my grandparents flew out to California to see their other daughter and her family - they were highly disturbed to witness inter-racial dating going on at Laguna Beach. Highly Disturbed, I tell ya.

And I can't see that anything's any better forty years later.

Btw, they were born in the same year, although my gramps lived to his mid-nineties. All the way from horse and wagons in the Indian Territories to a man safely landed on and returned from the moon.

Thank you, again, for posting the speech.

Speaking of boobs....I'm considering making a bra purchase for those strapless things. I refuse to go bra-less with those kinds of things, but want to make sure I get the right thing.

I understand THIS is the answer. Problem is the price. Before I go laying out this kind of cash, I thought I'd see if anyone has any experience with this bra OR other suggestions????

Do you have to glue that thing on?

Apparently the cups are lined some high-tech adhesive and fasten in the front. It's supposed to be easy to take on and off, and stays sticky for more than 100 wears!

When I go strapless I wear a bustier. I need more engineering in my foundation garments.

I think a failure with the sticky bra could be catastrophic, but then again, see if they have some reviews about it online.

Hhhmmm, I suppose you're right about that. I'll do some more research before I fork over this kind of money. On the other hand, if it works - it'll be worth the price!

If you have a really close friend willing to help you, you could use duct tape like the young gals so.

As for me, I could not trust the bra in the photo. More power to you, if you're 'up to it'.

Do you have to glue that thing on?

I believe that you have to have "things" upon which to glue them.

But, I could be wrong.

Memo to self: Do not post to these posts, for your own well-being, and self-interest.

I've been sitting here waiting on you to chime in. I still think duct tape is the answer.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe complained on Sunday that President Bush shouldn't have worn a flightsuit on the deck of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln earlier this year because of allegations he didn't fulfill a commitment to serve in the Alabama National Guard 30-years ago.

Complaining about the president's May 1 appearance on the Lincoln's flight deck, McAuliffe told CNN's "Late Edition" that Bush "didn't wear [a flightsuit] when he should have worn one when he was supposedly in the Alabama National Guard."

The insinuation that Bush dodged military service stunned fellow "Late Edition" guest, Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie, who shook his head in disgust as McAulliffe recycled the discredited charge.

The president did fly high performance aircraft during a stint in the Texas Air National Guard in the 1970's, a fact McAuliffe omitted from his diatribe.

The DNC chief delivered the low blow while complaining that Bush had prematurely declared major combat operations over during his Lincoln speech, while speaking beneath a sign that read "Mission Accomplished."

Revisiting the controversy, McAuliffe told CNN, "What the president was saying when he was strutting around on that aircraft carrier wearing a flight suit - which I remind you, he didn't wear when he should have worn one when he was supposedly in the Alabama National Guard - but clearly what came out of that was, he was saying that our job had been completed [and] major combat operations were over."

When the New York Times examined Democrat accusations that Bush hadn't fulfilled his full Alabama National Guard commitment during to 2000 election campaign, it turned up no evidence he had dodged serving.

and fasten in the front

Glad they didn't try to tell us it fastened in the back.

You'll notice the model is leaning backward. My guess is there's a reason for that posture.

Heheh - we farm types always look to the tape of the gods first thing.

I can remember the time when duct tape didn't exist. We used to fix everything with baling wire. The tape is quite an improvement for most things.
